Pictured below: overview of the installed Ecoraster reinforcing the riverbank to prevent erosion; this diagram shows the steeply-sloped river bank shortly after germination of the vegetated reinforced erosion area. Subsequent deep root zone development of the vegetated, reinforced bank surface will as a result strengthen over time, instead of decaying as do conventional structures.
